Racing to Save Lives: 1/2 Marathon 2009

Welcome! Thanks for taking the time to check out my fundraising page.

I'm training to participate in the Houston/Armaco Half Marathon (13.1 miles!) endurance event on January 18, 2009 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training.

This is my second event with Team In Training. I am also currently training for a 100 mile bike ride in Honolulu on September 28, 2008. If you want to check out my cycle blog, click here:

http://pages.teamintraining.org/txg/honoride08/lposevina.

All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission. My personal goal is to raise $2000 by September 30, 2008. If you are unable to make a donation, maybe you know someone who will. Please pass this along to all of your friends!

Come back and visit my web site often to check on my progress. Thanks for your support!
